Have a password? Anyone can open your account!


Passwords are kept in a way that no one but you can guess. This is the main rule when setting a password. There are also other rules. But for lack of awareness and for the convenience of remembering, many people keep passwords very simple. That’s according to a recent survey.

According to a survey by a password management company called NordPass, the most used password in India is ‘Password’! Yes, of course. Many people set such a simple password.




Not just India. The most used password in Japan.

This is followed by 12345, 123456, 123456789, 123455678, India123, 1234567890, 1234567, qwerty and abc123.

Many also use iloveyou, krishna, sairam and omsairam.

Needless to say, never use such a common password.

So how to keep the password?

1. Use uppercase and lowercase letters, such as dIc! AW3P.

2. Put alphabets, numbers and symbols, all three in the password. E.g., KiP2I @ Cv

3. Keep a password of at least 8 characters.

4. Do not use any common words. The above mentioned, but also forgotmypassword, thisismypassword, 12345678, a1b2c3d4, abcdefgh.

5. As mentioned earlier, the password with family, acquaintance, pet or date of birth naib naib f.
